Here is the information for the 3rd Annual NPHC Trail Ride October 6, 2019. I have reservations already for six (6) horses. Come out and join us, even if you don’t ride. Have a great weekend, Roy

Okay everyone, The best tentative dates for next year are: June 15-16 – 4 NPHC judges, July 20-21 – 4 NPHC judges, and September 7- 8 – 4 judges for ENPHC in Fallon.
We have checked before and after with the fairgrounds, checked with APHA, and tried to moved things a variety of ways. This is appears to be what we have. The only alternative date is to keep the August date instead of July, but that creates it’s own conflicts. If you have a big problem with this, please contact Roy or David Ruby.
Here are the updated points for NPHC Year-end awards through the August ENPHC show. The missing Grand/Reserve bonus points have been added in and a couple of other corrections have been made.
There are a lot of changes as some horses are not added in and other horses start to fall off of the list due to a lack of judges to be qualified for 2018 awards. As always, please write to Roy at email@example.com if you see a problem, want something checked, or need anything explained.
I have also included the forms for September’s show. The dates are September 8&9, 2018. As always, we hope to see you there. Remember that for the members still running for year-end awards, this is the mandatory 2-judge show. You have to show in all of the classes that you want to qualify for year-end awards.
Have a great weekend, Roy
Some of you have heard, but here are more details.
On Friday July 27, Carol & I traveled from Fallon to New Plymouth, Idaho. Carol’s sister-in-law Diana Heffley was arranging a surprise 50th Birthday party for her spouse Paul, who is Carol’s brother. Shortly after we arrived, we learned the Diana wasn’t feeling well. She has had a series of medical issues that led to a Kidney transplant four years ago. Everyone was sure that she had just been overdoing it and had too much sun on Thursday. Late in the afternoon, Diana wasn’t feeling any better and Paul took her to the Emergency Room. She was quickly taken in and while being examined, she became unresponsive and collapsed. After almost a half hour of CPR the doctors were unable to revive her. The weekend was not at all what it was meant to be.
Our current plan is to prep the SRPHC Idaho show as quickly as we can to allow Carol to return to Idaho by Friday. For the most part, the Fallon NPHC show is up and running.
Our phone is answered 24 hours a day by either a person or the machine. If you get the machine, please leave a message so that we can get back to you. If you call and it rings and rings and you never get the machine, it most likely means we are on the phone with someone. Wait a while and call back.
Additionally, while in Idaho, we attended the Funeral Service for Lyle Wonderlich. The service was very well attended and it appeared that way more people came than they were expecting.
Hi everyone. Here are the rules that were all of that fine print at the bottom of the Class list. As I said earlier, I plan to include it with the first class list of the year that will be handed out to everyone when they check in next week. I have included the 2018 NPHC Year-end Awards rules for you as well.
Also, Sharon would like to make sure that everyone understands that the Exhibitor Appreciation dinner will be held in August again this year and will stay there in the future.
As of now there will not be a potluck dinner during the NPHC meeting on Saturday unless someone wants to jump in and organize one.
We are still in search of a sponsor for the High Point Ranch Horse award for 2018. I think it is still a $125 dollar sponsorship, but you can double-check that with Sharon.
If you would like to be removed from our email list, have any questions or concerns, or need something that I have forgotten, please feel free to write me. See you at the show, Roy
